Improved AJAX Login & Register 2.7.308 is a Joomla extension that replaces the standard login and registration interface with AJAX-based forms and additional account options. It supports password reset and username reminders without a full page reload, and users can also register or sign in through Google, Microsoft, Twitter and Facebook. The package includes prepared skins and themes together with a Live Editor for building custom registration forms.
AJAX processing allows common account actions to happen without sending visitors through a separate page for every step. Login, registration, password recovery and username reminders can therefore remain in a more compact interface.
Social sign-in provides another registration path for users who prefer an existing account from Google, Microsoft, Twitter or Facebook instead of creating credentials manually.
The extension includes 20 prepared skins and four module themes. These can be used as starting points when the login and registration forms need to match a Joomla template more closely.
The Live Editor allows administrators to create their own registration forms and adjust the fields presented to users. This makes the component suitable for sites that need more control over account creation than the default Joomla forms provide.
