Instant Facebook Login 2.9 is a Joomla extension for social login and registration through Facebook, Google, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Visitors can create or access a Joomla account without completing the normal registration form each time, while the package also includes additional social integrations such as sharing, comments, feeds and messaging-related features. Version 2.9 is listed for Joomla 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Social authentication can reduce the number of steps required to register on a Joomla site. A visitor uses an existing supported social account, and the extension connects that login with the site's Joomla user system.
Several networks can be enabled, allowing the site owner to choose which login providers should be offered. This can be useful when a community or membership site serves users who prefer different social platforms.
The extension also includes social features beyond authentication. Depending on configuration, these can include sharing tools, social comments, content feeds and messaging integrations.
Instant Facebook Login 2.9 remains focused on simplifying account access while keeping Joomla user accounts as the local identity layer. Its current Joomla Extension Directory listing identifies version 2.9 as compatible with Joomla 3 through Joomla 6.
Visitors can sign in or create an account within seconds using their existing Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook credentials, without having to complete a traditional registration form.
The extension makes social authentication easy to integrate and configure, helping reduce registration barriers and improve the user experience. In addition to social login, it can display social content such as feeds and comments directly on your Joomla website, making it easier to connect your site with popular social networks.
Instant Facebook Login includes a range of useful features, including quick login through multiple social networks, simple configuration, a live chat module, customizable module templates, user list export, and a modal lightbox login window. These tools make the extension suitable for websites that want to simplify user registration, provide convenient social authentication, and add useful social features without complicated setup.
