Add to Menu Pro 6.8.2 is a Joomla plugin from Regular Labs that shortens the process of creating menu links for content. It adds an option in the administrator area so an article or category can be linked to a menu without first opening Joomla's Menu Manager and locating the item again. The Pro version also provides settings for access level, template style and language when the new menu item is created.
The usual Joomla workflow separates content editing and menu management. Add to Menu brings those steps closer together: after working with an item, an administrator can create the corresponding menu link and choose its parent menu from the same workflow.
This can save time on sites where new articles or categories are frequently added to navigation. It also reduces the chance that content is published but the required menu link is forgotten.
The Pro edition can set additional properties for the created menu item, including access level, template style and language. These options are useful on multilingual sites or installations that use different template styles in different sections.
