Content Templater Pro 13.0.0 is a Joomla extension from Regular Labs for creating reusable content templates. It can insert prepared text into articles and can also apply predefined article settings, so recurring page structures do not have to be rebuilt manually each time. Templates can be organized into categories and inserted with an editor button, while the Pro version adds options for custom fields, conditions and automatic loading.
A template can contain a short reusable fragment or a larger block of formatted content. This is useful for articles that repeatedly use the same introduction, disclaimer, table, layout or other standard section.
Content Templater can do more than insert text. The Pro version can pre-fill article options and custom fields, including publishing data, images and links. This helps when a group of articles needs to start with the same settings as well as the same content structure.
Templates can be loaded from the editor, and they can also be made available automatically under defined conditions. This makes the extension suitable for sites with several editors or recurring content types where consistency is important.
Version 13.0.0 also introduced an option for keeping article ordering supplied through the manual ordering tag, while the underlying Regular Labs conditions and library received performance-related changes.
