Visitorcounter Pro 6.0.0.0 is a Joomla visitor counter module that records traffic statistics for today, yesterday, the current week, month and the total period. It can also show how many visitors are currently online. The Pro version includes several counter layouts, bot and IP exclusions, IP anonymization and controls for how visitors are counted.
The counter can be displayed horizontally, vertically or in a compact layout. It may also run invisibly when statistics should be collected without showing the counter to normal visitors.
Bot filtering and an IP blacklist help exclude traffic that should not be included in the statistics. The module supports IPv4 and IPv6, and IP anonymization is available for installations where visitor addresses should not be stored in full.
A configurable lock time reduces repeated counting of the same visitor within a selected period. Administrators can also use a preset value when older statistics need to be represented in the counter.
Statistics can be restricted to selected Joomla user groups, and the backend helper module provides a way to view counter information from the administrator area. Database cleanup tools are included for maintaining stored visitor records.
