JReviews 5.4.2 is a Joomla component for building directory and review websites with structured listings, custom fields and multi-criteria ratings. It can be used for business directories, products, real estate, restaurants, people listings and other projects where visitors need to search, filter and review entries. The component supports multiple directories on one site, user submissions, moderation and media uploads for photos, video, audio and files.
Listings can be organized with their own fields and categories, allowing different directory sections to collect different types of information. A single Joomla site can therefore contain several listing types without forcing every entry to use the same structure.
Search and filtering tools help visitors narrow larger directories by the information stored in those fields. Favorites and related listing functions provide additional ways to return to entries or connect relevant content.
The review system supports both user and editor reviews, multiple rating criteria and different ways of presenting rating results. Moderation controls can be used on sites where listings or reviews are submitted from the frontend.
Media can be attached to listings and reviews, including photos, video, audio and files. Together with Joomla articles as the underlying content, this allows JReviews to extend existing Joomla content into more structured directory and review pages.
