Author Info Box Pro 5.3.0.0 is a Joomla plugin for displaying author information above or below an article. The box can include the author's name, image, website, email address and short biography. Data can be taken from the standard Joomla user profile or from supported profile extensions including JomSocial, Kunena and Author List.
Author images can come from the selected profile source or from Gravatar. This allows the same author box to use profile information that is already maintained elsewhere on the Joomla site.
Links to JomSocial, Kunena or Author List profiles can be added when readers should be able to open a more complete author page.
Display rules can limit the box according to Author ID, Article ID, Category ID or Item ID. These conditions make it possible to show author information only for selected content instead of enabling the box everywhere.
The extension is mainly intended for blogs, news sites and multi-author Joomla projects where the article page should include consistent author details without entering the same information manually in every article.
