JoomPMS 1.0.1 is a Joomla private-messaging component that allows registered users to exchange messages inside the website. Users can read, send, reply to and delete private messages, search their mailbox and send a message to more than one recipient. The component also includes mailbox blocking, user-group controls and Joomla CAPTCHA support for sites that need a basic internal communication system.
Messages remain inside the Joomla site, giving registered members a way to communicate without exposing their personal email addresses. Inbox and reply functions keep conversations connected with the user's account.
Search helps users find older messages when the mailbox becomes larger, while delete controls provide a way to remove conversations that are no longer needed.
A single message can be addressed to several users, which is useful when the same information needs to be sent to a small group. User-group settings allow administrators to control which accounts can use the messaging features.
Joomla CAPTCHA support can be enabled where additional protection against automated submissions is required. JoomPMS is therefore aimed at community and membership sites that need simple private communication between registered users.
