Komento Pro 4.0.7 is a Joomla 3 commenting component for adding user discussions to selected site content. Comments can be enabled by category and controlled through Joomla user-group permissions. The extension supports BBCode, emoticons, file attachments, ratings, location information and social sharing, and it includes migration tools for importing comments from other supported extensions.
Administrators can decide where comments are available by enabling them only for selected categories. Access rules can also be tied to Joomla user groups when commenting or viewing should be limited.
Users can format comments with BBCode and emoticons and can attach files when that option is enabled. Ratings and location information provide additional data that can be associated with a comment.
Migration tools help move existing comments from other supported Joomla extensions into Komento rather than starting with an empty discussion history.
The component also includes social-sharing features and structured markup mentioned in the source description. Komento Pro is therefore intended for sites that need a dedicated comment workflow with moderation and user-access controls.
