Minitek Content Notifications Pro 5.0.1 is a Joomla extension that lets guests and registered users subscribe to notifications about content changes. Subscriptions can follow specific articles, categories, authors or tags, allowing users to receive updates when new articles are published or existing content is modified. This gives visitors more control over which parts of a Joomla site they want to monitor.
Users can subscribe to an individual article when they only want to know about changes to that page. This is useful for documentation, announcements or other content that may be updated over time.
Category subscriptions provide broader coverage by notifying users about new or updated articles within a selected section of the site.
Author-based subscriptions allow visitors to follow new publications and changes from a particular content author. Tag subscriptions provide a similar option when related material is organized by topic rather than category.
The extension supports both guests and registered users. Its main purpose is to provide opt-in content-change notifications based on the parts of the site each visitor chooses to follow.
