Minitek FAQ Book Pro 5.0.1 is a Joomla component for creating Q&A sections, knowledge bases, contact forms and discussion areas. Questions can be public or private, topics can have their own moderators, and permissions can be controlled through Joomla user groups. The component also supports custom fields, attachments and email notifications, allowing it to handle both simple FAQ pages and larger user-submitted question collections.
Questions and answers can be grouped into topics so a larger knowledge base remains easier to browse. Visitors can submit new questions from the frontend when the site configuration allows it, while moderators can manage the content assigned to their topics.
Public and private questions can be configured separately. Joomla ACL rules determine which user groups can perform actions or view restricted material, which is useful for support areas that mix public information with member-only questions.
Custom fields can collect additional information when a question is submitted, and attachments can be added to questions and answers. Email notifications keep authors and moderators informed when new activity requires attention.
FAQ Book can also be used for contact forms and discussion-style sections instead of only a traditional FAQ list. Version 5.0.1 is available for Joomla 4 and Joomla 5.
