NorrCompetition 2.0.10 is a Joomla extension designed to organize photo and video contests with voting, ratings, and clear result displays. It is a great solution for model agencies, city portals, communities, and niche websites looking to increase user engagement and social interaction.
The extension supports several types of contests, including photo, video, and a simple format without media files. Administrators can create custom fields for submission forms, while participants can upload additional images to their entries, creating a small gallery within the submission. A special Grand Prix status can also be assigned to highlight selected entries.
NorrCompetition includes multilingual support and integrates with the standard CMS category system. For video contests, it works with popular video platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Rutube.
The extension also allows the use of content plugins on the submission page and provides the ability to create and manage contests directly from the frontend. Its code is clean and fully open, with no encrypted parts. NorrCompetition is compatible with Joomla 5 and ready to run on PHP 8.2.
