VP Advanced User 2.0 is a Joomla user extension that adds social login and additional account-management options. Visitors can authenticate through supported services such as GitHub, Yandex, Twitter and Facebook, while the extension can also use an email address as the Joomla username. It includes its own login module, custom-field support, editable email templates and AJAX-based forms for registration and account access.
Social authentication gives visitors an alternative to creating and remembering a separate Joomla password. The available services can be presented as login buttons so users choose the account provider they prefer.
The extension can use email addresses as usernames and supports custom user fields when additional profile information needs to be collected during registration or account editing.
Email templates can be customized for messages generated by the account workflow. The included login module and modal forms provide frontend access to registration and authentication without relying only on Joomla's default login presentation.
AJAX is used for supported user interactions, and the appearance of social-login buttons can be adjusted. Author information and profile pictures can also be displayed where those user details are needed on the site.
