WhatsApp Multi Agent 1.8.1 is a Joomla module that adds a floating WhatsApp contact widget with multiple support agents. Visitors can choose the person they want to contact and continue the conversation through WhatsApp Web or the mobile app. Each agent can have working hours, and the module can show an email contact form when all agents are offline. Greeting text and widget appearance can also be adjusted for the site.
The module is intended for websites where different staff members handle different types of enquiries. Multiple WhatsApp numbers can be added, allowing visitors to select the appropriate agent instead of using a single general contact link.
Working schedules can be set for individual agents. When nobody is available, an email form can be displayed as a fallback so visitors still have a way to leave a message.
Greeting messages can change according to time, date or the page being viewed. This allows a site to present more relevant contact text without creating a separate module for every page.
Version 1.8.1 includes a fix related to token checking for Joomla 5. The module is responsive and provides settings for colors, header image and animation so the floating contact widget can be adapted to the surrounding template.
