Advanced Inventory for VirtueMart 3.12.0 is a Joomla component for updating VirtueMart stock information from one administration screen. Instead of opening products individually, administrators can edit stock levels, ordered quantities, availability dates and publication status in an AJAX-based table. The component also includes bulk update tools, filtering, export and barcode-based stock changes.
The component is intended for stores where stock values change frequently and editing every VirtueMart product separately would be inefficient. Inventory information can be reviewed and changed directly from a consolidated product list.
Editable values include current stock, ordered quantities, availability dates and publication state. AJAX updates allow changes to be made without repeatedly loading the full VirtueMart product form.
Bulk operations provide a faster way to apply the same type of change to several products. Filters help narrow the list before an update when the store contains a larger catalog.
Barcode scanning can also be used to update stock. Export functions provide another way to work with inventory data outside the component when required.
