CMGiftCard 2.3.2 is a Joomla component for selling physical or electronic gift cards through a website. Customers can choose a gift card amount, select a design, add a message and set a delivery date, while the component generates the card code and manages the order. Administrators can create email templates and control how gift cards are delivered after purchase.
The component provides a separate workflow for gift card orders instead of treating them as ordinary content items. Customers can select the card value and design before completing the purchase, making the process suitable for stores and service websites that want to sell prepaid gifts.
Gift card codes can be generated automatically, and delivery can be scheduled for a selected date. Personal messages can also be attached to the card so the recipient receives more than a generic order notification.
Administrators can manage gift card designs, orders and email templates from Joomla. Customers can review their order history, which gives them a way to return to previous purchases without relying only on email.
CMGiftCard also supports multiple payment methods. The exact payment options depend on the integrations configured on the site, while the component handles the gift card-specific part of the order and delivery process.
