FW VirtueMart Rental 3.7.0 is a plugin for adding rental options to products in a VirtueMart 3 store. A rental setup is attached through a custom field and can include pricing periods, deposits, stock control and booking dates. A product can be configured for rental, normal purchase or both, allowing the same VirtueMart catalog to handle goods and services that are sold for a fixed price or booked for a period of time.
Rental settings are added to individual products through VirtueMart custom fields. This lets the store decide which items use rental rules while leaving normal products unchanged.
Pricing can be organized into a rental grid so the amount changes according to the selected period or option. Deposits can also be required when the business needs an additional amount to cover rented equipment or other goods.
Inventory control helps prevent the same stock from being booked beyond its availability. Date-format and booking-delay settings provide additional control over how rental periods are selected by customers.
The plugin is intended for VirtueMart 3 stores that rent products or services and need the rental choice to remain part of the normal product and checkout workflow instead of using a separate booking system.
