VM Downloadable Goods for VirtueMart 1.0.3 is a Joomla package for selling and delivering downloadable files through VirtueMart. A product can contain one or several files, while download access can depend on the order status and can expire after a configured period. Customers can receive download links through order details, product information, PDF invoices or order emails.
The package connects downloadable files with VirtueMart products so digital goods can follow the normal store ordering process. More than one file can be attached when a product includes several downloadable items.
Administrators can define which order statuses allow downloading. This makes it possible to keep files unavailable until the order reaches the required payment or processing state.
Download access can also have an expiration time. Active and expired downloads can be distinguished, and download activity is recorded in logs for later review.
Download buttons can appear in several places, including order details, product details, PDF invoices and order emails. Login redirection is available when access to a download requires an authenticated customer session.
