VM2AudioSamples 1.0.1 is a VirtueMart 3 plugin for attaching and playing MP3 samples on product pages. Audio files are stored in the shared media folder and can be assigned to products through the VirtueMart media workflow. Administrators can choose different player styles, place the player before or after the product description and limit where it is displayed by product ID.
The plugin is useful for stores that sell music, audio products or other items where customers should be able to listen to a sample before making a purchase.
MP3 files can be attached to products and are played directly from the product description area. The media can be added through the Images tab or through the VirtueMart media manager.
Display settings allow the audio player to appear before or after the product description. Several presentation styles are available so the player can be adjusted to fit the shop layout.
Product IDs can be included or excluded when the player should only appear on selected items. VM2AudioSamples therefore adds audio-preview functionality to VirtueMart without replacing the normal product media system.
