VP Email Manager 2.15 is a Joomla component for editing and managing VirtueMart email templates. It lets administrators customize store emails with the Joomla editor, preview templates and assign different designs according to products, categories, manufacturers, vendors, shopper groups, users, countries or order status. Sent messages are stored in an outbox, which provides a record of emails generated by the VirtueMart store.
The component works with the emails generated by VirtueMart, allowing their layout and content to be edited without changing the core VirtueMart files. This makes template changes easier to maintain when the shop is updated.
Different templates can be assigned under specific conditions. A store can therefore use one design for particular products or categories and another for selected shopper groups, countries or order statuses.
The preview function lets administrators check the email appearance before it is used for real customer messages. Sent emails are also kept in the outbox so previous messages can be reviewed when necessary.
Version 2.15 fixed compatibility issues with VirtueMart 4.4.0 and later and with Joomla 5.2.2 and later. The component supports multilingual stores and is listed by the developer for Joomla 3, 4 and 5 with VirtueMart 3 or 4.
