CW Article Attachments PRO 4.2.18 is a Joomla file-attachment manager for adding downloadable files to articles and other supported content. Files can be attached directly from the article editing screen with drag-and-drop controls, and attachments can also be used with modules and menu items. Administrators can define allowed file types, size restrictions, access levels, categories and where attachments appear in the page content.
The extension adds attachment management directly to the content-editing workflow. Editors can upload and organize files without maintaining a separate list of download links inside the article text.
Drag-and-drop uploading makes it easier to add several files, while validation settings allow administrators to restrict which file types or sizes are accepted.
Access levels determine who can see or download selected attachments. Categories provide another way to organize files when a site contains a larger number of documents.
Several display layouts are included, and attachment placement can be configured within the content. The extension also provides an editor button and multilingual support for sites where the same attachment workflow is used across different languages.
