FILEman 6.1.2 is a Joomla file management extension for uploading, organizing and sharing files and media from a website. It can be used for public downloads, private file areas, image galleries and attaching files directly to Joomla articles
The component includes a drag-and-drop uploader and supports automatic image resizing during upload. Images can be displayed as galleries with generated thumbnails, while built-in audio and video players make it possible to preview supported media files directly on the site.
Files can be inserted into articles, shared with visitors or restricted to selected users depending on how the website is configured. FILEman also supports international file and folder names, making it suitable for multilingual Joomla projects and websites that manage different types of digital content.
Recent changes in 6.1.2 update the Joomlatools Framework, add installer preflight support for Joomla ConsoleApplication and restore the FILELink and Attachments buttons in the YOOtheme Pro 5 editor menu
