JCE Editor Pro v3.0.2 is a visual editor for Joomla that provides additional tools for creating and formatting content without requiring direct knowledge of HTML, XHTML or CSS
The familiar Office-style toolbar makes common editing tasks straightforward. The editor also includes image management tools for uploading, renaming, deleting, cutting, copying and inserting images directly into Joomla articles.
The link browser makes it easier to create links to Joomla sections, categories, articles and contacts. Users who need more control over their content can switch to the code view, use syntax highlighting and edit styles and element attributes directly.
JCE Pro also includes tools for working with media content, including images, audio and video. Spell checking is available through Google Spellchecker, as well as PSpell and ASpell, helping to identify spelling errors while editing.
The 3.0.2 release fixes several issues affecting profile editing, copy and paste, link editing and color palettes. Audio and video handling has also been improved, including better support for formats such as OGG and WebM. Additional fixes affect the File Browser, Media Manager and image watermarking. JCE Pro 3.0.2 is compatible with Joomla 5 and 6 and does not require the backward compatibility plugin.
