TEXTman 6.1.2 is a Joomla article management extension that provides a more convenient way to create, edit and organize standard Joomla articles. It works directly with Joomla content, so existing articles can be managed without moving them to a separate content system.
The extension includes autosave, draft previews and a sticky editing toolbar that keeps important controls available while working on longer content. Drafts can also be shared before publication, which is useful when articles need to be reviewed or approved by other users.
TEXTman provides additional tools for working with featured images, file attachments, external links and Joomla custom fields. These functions allow authors to manage both article content and related media from the same editing workflow.
Frontend article management is also supported, giving registered users a simpler way to create and maintain the content they are allowed to access. Articles can be filtered by status, owner, tags and access level, which can be useful on websites with several authors or editors.
The extension also includes SEO-related options and can work together with LOGman to provide additional information about article activity. Overall, TEXTman offers a more streamlined workflow for Joomla websites where content is created and updated regularly by multiple users.
