Documents Seller 7.3.2 is a Joomla component for selling downloadable files such as eBooks, documents, software, templates and other digital products. Files can be offered for free or for a set price, organized into categories and connected with an order and payment workflow. The component also provides controls for limiting downloads by time or by number of downloads, which is useful when access to purchased files should not remain unlimited.
Each document is connected with a file and can be assigned to one or more categories. Products can include a short description and a full description, while larger sets of related information can be divided into additional content tabs on the document page.
Paid documents are handled through the component's order system. PayPal, Authorize.Net, Eway and Offline Payment are included as payment plugins, and additional payment plugins can be installed when a site needs another gateway.
Download access can be restricted after purchase. Administrators can allow a file to be downloaded only for a defined number of days or limit how many times the customer can download it. Free files can also be published alongside paid products.
Documents Seller includes order management and sales reporting in the Joomla administration area. Approved orders give customers access to their purchased files, while reports show document sales and income for selected periods.
The component allows you to organize materials using an unlimited number of categories and subcategories with any level of nesting. A single document can be assigned to multiple categories at the same time.
You can create both free and paid files in any format (PDF, images, office documents, etc.) with the ability to limit downloads by time or by number of downloads. For free downloads, user data collection can be enabled.
Documents Seller integrates with Joomla user registration and supports a customizable order form with 9 types of custom user fields. It also provides support for more than 50 payment gateways.
