Droppics 3.3.10 is a Joomla image gallery component that lets editors create and manage galleries from the content editor using drag-and-drop tools. Images can be uploaded in batches, organized into multi-level galleries and displayed with several included themes. The component also provides image resizing, captions, borders, shadows and watermark options, giving administrators control over gallery presentation without preparing every image layout manually.
Galleries can be created while editing Joomla content, which reduces the need to move between a separate gallery manager and the article being prepared. Images can be dragged into a gallery and uploaded together when several files need to be added at once.
The version described here includes six gallery themes. Administrators can adjust the appearance of images with settings for borders, shadows and other presentation details, while captions can be added when an image needs accompanying text.
Image dimensions can be handled automatically or adjusted according to the needs of the gallery. Watermarks are also available for sites that want to place an identifying mark over published images.
Multi-level gallery organization allows larger image collections to be divided into a clearer structure. This makes Droppics suitable for portfolios, product images, project galleries and other Joomla pages that contain more than a simple row of pictures.
