Isotope Gallery 4.0.7 is a Joomla module for presenting articles, K2 items, image folders or custom entries in a responsive filterable gallery. Content can be arranged in up to six columns and filtered by categories, tags or article tags, depending on the selected source. Custom entries can include images as well as YouTube or Vimeo video, allowing the same module to be used for portfolios, media galleries and visual content collections.
The module can work with existing Joomla or K2 content, so a gallery does not always require a separate set of records. Administrators can select one or more categories or use an image-directory source when the gallery is based mainly on media files.
Filtering helps visitors narrow the displayed items without loading a separate page. Category and tag filters are particularly useful for portfolios or collections where the same layout contains several types of work.
Two main layouts are provided: an Isotope masonry layout and a gallery layout. The module also includes light and dark presentation options and allows custom colors to be used when the default styles do not match the site template.
Custom items can contain photos or videos from YouTube and Vimeo. The gallery viewer is used for opening images and video content, while the responsive grid adapts the item arrangement to the available screen width.
