Responsivizer 2.11 is a Joomla extension for creating a separate responsive mobile presentation of an existing website. It can automatically switch templates for mobile visitors and provides controls for deciding which modules and page elements should appear on smaller screens. The component also includes mobile menu layouts, redirect settings, caching and a device emulator for checking the result while the mobile version is being configured.
The extension is intended for Joomla sites whose main template does not provide the required mobile layout. Instead of rebuilding all site content, administrators can configure a mobile presentation and let Responsivizer select it for supported devices.
Module visibility can be adjusted so desktop blocks that are unnecessary or too large for a phone can be hidden from the mobile layout. Mobile-specific menu options provide another way to simplify navigation on smaller screens.
A built-in emulator helps administrators review the mobile presentation without repeatedly switching to a physical phone or tablet. Redirect rules and template switching settings control when visitors are sent to the mobile version.
