Mediabox CK Pro 2.10.1.1 is a Joomla lightbox extension for displaying images, videos and other media content in responsive popup windows. It can be used for image previews, video playback, galleries and HTML content without sending visitors to a separate page.
The extension is designed to work on both desktop and mobile devices. Popup content automatically adapts to the available screen size, while touch controls allow visitors to swipe between items, zoom images and move around enlarged content in a way similar to a mobile photo viewer.
Mediabox CK supports different types of media, including images, videos and HTML content. Multiple items can be grouped into albums, allowing visitors to navigate through a gallery directly inside the lightbox. Administrators can also configure popup dimensions, colors, margins, transitions and other visual settings to match the design of the Joomla template.
The Pro version adds additional tools for creating and managing galleries. Images can be loaded automatically from a selected folder, links can be created using tags placed throughout the website, and editor integration makes it easier to insert Mediabox CK content while editing Joomla articles.
Mediabox CK can also be configured to apply the lightbox automatically to existing images and links. This makes it possible to replace another lightbox solution without manually rebuilding every media link. The Pro version can additionally process SIG gallery tags, which can be useful when migrating from older Simple Image Gallery implementations.
