OSYouTube Pro 4.1.0 is a Joomla plugin for embedding YouTube videos in site content by using a video URL instead of manually adding iframe code. After a supported YouTube link is placed in an article or module, the plugin creates the player on the published page. Administrators can adjust player dimensions, responsive behavior, autoplay, controls and fullscreen settings so embedded videos follow the needs of the site layout.
The plugin is intended to simplify routine video publishing. Editors can work with ordinary YouTube links while the extension handles the embed output, which is useful on sites that add videos to articles regularly.
Responsive display allows the player to adapt to the available content width on different screen sizes. Width and height can also be configured when a fixed player size is required.
Playback-related settings in the version described here include autoplay and control visibility, together with options for fullscreen mode and player appearance. These settings let the site owner decide how much of the standard YouTube player interface is shown.
OSYouTube can be used in Joomla articles and modules, so videos can appear both inside editorial content and in module positions elsewhere in the template.
