MX News Slider 4.0.0 is a Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 module for displaying articles in a slider with optional thumbnail navigation. Content can be selected from a category, child categories, tags or featured status. Administrators can choose light or dark styling, place the thumbnail area on the left or right and control whether titles and navigation buttons are shown.
The module uses Joomla articles as its content source and can include items from child categories to a configured depth. Tag filtering provides another way to narrow which articles appear.
Featured articles can be included, excluded or shown on their own depending on the selected content mode.
A thumbnail area can be displayed beside the main slide, with its position and width controlled from the settings. Large navigation buttons can also be enabled on either side or hidden.
Light and dark themes provide two prepared visual styles. These options make the module useful for news blocks and article showcases where several items need to share the same page area.
