CDN for Joomla! Pro 8.0.2 is a Regular Labs system plugin for serving selected Joomla files through a Content Delivery Network. It rewrites local media URLs to the configured CDN domain and lets administrators choose which file types should be handled or excluded. The Pro version adds HTTPS handling, multiple CDN roots and file versioning, making it possible to use different CDN settings for different groups of static resources.
The plugin works with pull-zone CDN services by replacing local asset URLs with the configured CDN address. Images, CSS, JavaScript and other selected file types can then be requested from the CDN instead of directly from the Joomla server.
