Route 66 PRO 1.12.0 is a Joomla SEO component for creating custom SEF URLs, running content analysis and generating XML sitemaps. URL patterns can use dynamic tokens such as article aliases, categories and publication dates. The PRO edition extends support beyond Joomla core content to several third-party extensions and also includes additional optimization tools.
Custom URL patterns allow administrators to decide how Joomla addresses are built instead of relying only on the standard router structure. Identifier tokens keep generated URLs tied to the correct content item.
Route 66 includes SEO and readability analysis based on the Yoast engine. In the 1.x series, these checks can be used while editing supported content, with the PRO version adding integrations for third-party components.
The component can generate XML sitemaps and provides optimization options intended to reduce the amount of work required for common SEO tasks. The older 1.x generation also includes Facebook Instant Articles support.
PRO integrations listed for this generation include extensions such as VirtueMart, HikaShop, eShop and other supported Joomla components. This allows URL patterns and related SEO functions to be applied outside standard Joomla articles.
