EB Ajax Search is a live search module for Joomla that uses AJAX to show results instantly as the user types. This makes the search process faster and more convenient compared to a standard page reload.
The module works with several popular extensions, including SP Page Builder, K2, VirtueMart and HikaShop, so it can find content not only in regular articles but also in more complex components. Additional fields are supported, and you can control the order in which results appear.
There are flexible options for how the results are displayed — you can choose to show images, titles and descriptions. The search field itself and the search button can also be customized, including text and colour settings. The results window has its own style options, helping the module better match the design of the site.
Altogether, EB Ajax Search offers a practical way to add a modern, responsive search experience to a Joomla website while keeping configuration relatively straightforward.
