BA Dock Menu 1.2.0 is a Joomla module that creates a dock-style menu with icons that enlarge when the visitor hovers over them. The menu can be arranged horizontally or vertically and supports different placement positions, custom text, background colors and animation direction. Images can be linked to menu items, and the module also supports SEF URLs.
The dock effect is based on JavaScript and changes icon size as the pointer moves across the menu. This creates a visual navigation style similar to the dock interface used on desktop systems.
Administrators can choose horizontal or vertical orientation and determine the direction in which the animation expands. The original icon width can also be preserved according to the configured behavior.
Images can be assigned to menu items, while text and background colors can be adjusted to suit the surrounding template. The interval between item animations can also be configured.
BA Dock Menu supports SEF URLs and can therefore be used with normal Joomla navigation while changing only the way the menu is presented to visitors.
