JUX Accordion Menu 2.2.5 is a responsive Joomla menu module that displays multi-level navigation in an accordion layout. Child items can be expanded from their parent entries, allowing a large menu structure to use less space in a sidebar or other module position. The module provides settings for menu levels, templates, animation speed and the action used to open items, including click or hover behavior.
The accordion approach is useful when a Joomla site has several levels of navigation but does not need to show every submenu at the same time. Visitors can open the section they need while the remaining branches stay collapsed.
Administrators can control which menu levels are shown and adjust how the menu reacts when an item is opened. Animation settings are available, and the module includes templates that can be used as a starting point for its appearance.
The module is responsive, so the same navigation can be used on desktop and smaller screens. Its layout is especially suitable for category trees, documentation sections, service lists and other sites with nested menu items.
Because the module works with Joomla menu structures, it can be added without rebuilding the site's navigation as a separate set of links.
