Advanced Template Manager Pro 4.2.1 is a Joomla extension from Regular Labs for assigning template styles with conditions that go beyond Joomla's standard menu-item assignments. Instead of linking a style only to selected menu items, administrators can apply it according to factors such as content, users, language, devices and other page conditions. This is useful on sites where different sections need different template styles without creating extra menu links.
Joomla normally lets administrators assign template styles through menu items. That works for many sites, but it can become limiting when the same component or content type needs a different style under more specific circumstances.
Advanced Template Manager adds conditional assignments so a template style can be shown only when the defined rules match. Conditions can be based on areas such as users, language, devices, operating systems, content and custom fields.
Using these rules can reduce the need for hidden menu items that exist only to force a template assignment. It also keeps style decisions in one place, which is easier to maintain on a site with several template variations.
The extension is intended for Joomla installations that use multiple styles and need more precise control over where each one appears, while still working with Joomla's existing template system.
