Droptables 4.3.6 is a Joomla table manager with a spreadsheet-style editor for creating and maintaining tables inside the site. Cells can contain formatted content and formulas, while data can be sorted, filtered and used to generate charts. The component also supports Excel import and export, table themes and responsive display options, making it suitable for price lists, comparison tables, schedules and other structured information.
Tables are edited through a grid interface that behaves more like a spreadsheet than a standard HTML table editor. This makes it easier to change many cells, apply formatting and manage larger datasets without writing table markup manually.
Calculation functions can be used directly in table data, and charts can be generated from selected ranges. Sorting and filtering help visitors work with larger tables on the frontend when those options are enabled.
Excel import and export allow table data to move between Joomla and spreadsheet files. Tables can also be organized into categories, which is useful when a site contains many separate datasets.
Responsive settings help adapt wide tables to smaller screens, while themes provide a starting point for their visual design. Droptables can therefore be used for both simple data grids and more detailed interactive tables.
