EngageBox 3.4.2 is a Joomla extension for creating popups, slide-in boxes, floating bars and side panels. Content can be triggered according to visitor behavior, including Exit Intent when a user is about to leave a page. Joomla modules can be loaded inside the boxes, and the extension provides a large set of conditions for controlling where and when each message is displayed.
Different box types allow the same extension to be used for newsletter prompts, notices, calls to action and other temporary page content. Modal windows, slide-in areas, floating bars and side panels can each be configured separately.
Exit Intent can display a box when visitor behavior suggests that the user is leaving the page. This provides an alternative to showing the same popup immediately to every visitor.
Joomla modules can be loaded inside EngageBox content, which makes existing site functionality reusable inside a popup or panel instead of requiring it to be recreated as plain text.
The source description lists more than 60 targeting and display conditions. These can be used to limit a box to selected pages, audiences or situations so messages appear only where they are relevant.
