JUX Background Slider 1.1.8 is a Joomla module for displaying full-screen background images with animated transitions. Slides can use effects such as fading, directional movement, carousel animation and Ken Burns-style motion, while an overlay can darken the images to keep foreground text readable. Administrators can upload multiple slides, control image scaling and add custom CSS when the background presentation needs further adjustment.
The module is intended for pages where the background itself is part of the visual presentation. Images can rotate automatically through several transition styles without requiring the main page content to be rebuilt as a conventional slider.
Scaling options determine how source images are fitted to the available screen area. A semi-transparent overlay can be added over the background, which is useful when headings, menus or other foreground elements need stronger contrast.
