JUX Content Slider 1.2.9 is a Joomla module for displaying Joomla or K2 articles in a slider. It combines article images, titles and short descriptions with configurable transitions and hover effects, making it suitable for featured content, news blocks and other places where several items need to share the same page area. Administrators can control autoplay, animation timing, pagination, navigation controls and the number of items shown.
The module can use content from Joomla articles or K2, so an existing collection of posts can be presented without creating a separate set of slider items. Short descriptions can be displayed together with the visual part of each slide.
Ten hover effects are included in the version described on this page. Animation timing and pagination speed can be adjusted, and autoplay can be enabled when slides should advance without visitor input.
Navigation controls can be shown or hidden according to the layout. Administrators can also choose how many items are displayed, which makes the same module useful for a single featured item or a larger content carousel.
When the included design options are not enough, custom CSS can be used to change the presentation. This provides a way to match the slider to a Joomla template without changing the source articles themselves.
