JUX Horizontal Accordion Slider 2.5.3 is a Joomla 3 module for displaying images in a horizontal accordion layout. Each slide can include a title, caption, description and link, while the panels expand to reveal the selected image. The package includes four prepared themes and settings for navigation, slide dimensions and timing, giving administrators control over how the accordion behaves on the page.
The horizontal accordion keeps several slides visible in the same area while giving more space to the active item. This makes it suitable for image showcases, portfolios and promotional sections where visitors should be able to move quickly between several visual items.
Text content can be added to each slide, including titles and descriptions. Links can also be assigned when a slide should lead to an article, product or another page on the Joomla site.
Four themes are included in the version described here, providing different combinations of buttons, titles and control elements. CSS3 is used for the animation between accordion states.
Administrators can adjust slide size, time intervals and navigation behavior from the module settings. The extension is designed for the Joomla 3 generation, so this page describes that compatibility range rather than current Joomla versions.
