KL Admin Skin 3.7.1 is a Joomla plugin for customizing the appearance of the administrator area. It provides preset color styles together with options for background images, logos, fonts and interface colors, allowing the backend to be adapted to a company or project identity. Plugin settings can be exported and imported, which helps reuse the same administrator design on another Joomla installation.
The plugin changes the visual presentation of the Joomla administrator area rather than its access rules or content-management functions. This makes it useful when an agency or organization wants the backend to use its own branding.
Twenty-four preset color styles are included as starting points. Administrators can also set their own background image, font size, font color and logo when the predefined designs are not suitable.
The interface is designed to work across different screen widths, helping the customized administrator area remain usable on devices with different display sizes.
Import and export functions allow the plugin configuration to be moved between sites. This can save setup time when several Joomla installations should use the same administrative branding.
