Shortcodes Ultimate 3.9.5 is a Joomla plugin that provides a collection of 95 shortcodes for inserting reusable interface elements into site content. The available elements include tabs, boxes, buttons, icons, video, sliders and popup content. Shortcodes can be inserted through the editor interface and used in Joomla articles, custom modules, K2 content, HikaShop and VirtueMart where supported.
The plugin is intended to add prepared content elements without requiring the complete HTML and JavaScript for each element to be written manually.
Shortcodes can be inserted from the normal editor through a dedicated interface. This helps authors choose the required element and configure its options before placing it into the content.
The collection includes layout, media and interactive elements such as tabs, buttons, icons, video, sliders and popup blocks. Different shortcodes can be combined on the same page when several interface elements are needed.
The plugin can be used in Joomla articles and custom modules as well as content from K2, HikaShop and VirtueMart. This extends the shortcode system beyond standard article pages.
