Sliders Pro 8.3.0 is a Joomla plugin from Regular Labs for placing content inside collapsible accordion sections. Slider sets can be inserted into articles with the editor button or plugin syntax and can also be used in modules and other supported content areas. The extension includes prepared styles and options for opening behavior, transitions and access levels, helping long pages present related sections without showing everything at once.
Accordion sections are useful for FAQs, documentation and other pages where readers may want to open only the information that interests them. Several sections can remain on one page while taking up less vertical space when they are closed.
The plugin provides an editor button for inserting the required syntax, so authors do not need to write the complete markup manually. Styling can be adjusted with the included options and, when necessary, with site CSS.
Behavior settings in this version include opening on click or hover and controls for sliding or fading speed. Access levels can also be applied when slider content should be available only to particular Joomla users.
Sliders 8.3.0 belongs to the older Joomla 3 generation of the Regular Labs extension. On Joomla 4, 5 and 6, Regular Labs uses the newer Tabs & Accordions extension with different accordion syntax, so an upgrade requires checking existing slider tags.
