Tooltips PRO 9.4.6 from Regular Labs is a Joomla plugin for displaying additional text or images when a visitor interacts with selected page content. Tooltips can be inserted into articles, modules and supported component output, and an editor button helps authors add the required markup. Administrators can control placement and styling through the plugin settings or with custom CSS.
A tooltip is useful when a page needs extra explanation without placing all supporting information directly in the visible text. The additional content appears when the configured element is activated, keeping the main layout more compact.
Tooltips can contain normal text as well as images. This allows the plugin to be used for definitions, short instructions, image previews and other contextual information that should remain close to the related page element.
The editor button simplifies insertion for authors who do not want to type the tooltip syntax manually. Position settings determine where the tooltip appears in relation to the selected element.
Several prepared styles are available, and custom CSS can be used when the tooltip design needs to match a Joomla template more closely. The plugin can therefore be reused across different content areas while keeping its presentation consistent.
