Visual Styles Modules 1.9.1 is a Joomla extension for managing modules and changing the appearance of page elements through a visual interface. It provides dashboards for modules, styles and inline content editing, allowing administrators to work with module positions and presentation without making every change directly in template code. Settings cover areas such as colors, fonts, dimensions, spacing and backgrounds.
A visual map of template positions helps show where modules are placed on the page. Modules can then be reordered, added or removed while working with the layout, which can be easier than switching repeatedly between the frontend and Joomla's standard module manager.
Style controls include text and background colors, font settings, dimensions and spacing. Background images and gradients are also supported, giving administrators a way to adjust individual elements without writing each CSS rule from the beginning.
The extension includes tools for working with module and template presentation as well as inline content. A mobile emulator is provided for checking how the site is rendered at different device sizes.
For administrators who still need direct code changes, template file editing is also available. This makes the extension useful as a visual management layer while retaining access to lower-level template customization when necessary.
