Widgetkit 2.9.17 is a YOOtheme widget collection for Joomla that includes sliders, image galleries, parallax sections, media players, lightboxes, accordions, grids and Google Maps. Widgets are created and edited through a central manager and can then be inserted into Joomla content or module positions. Image sizing, visual effects and touch-screen support provide additional control over how widgets behave on different devices.
The widget manager provides one place to create and edit the different content elements included in the package. This reduces the need to configure each type of slider, gallery or accordion through a separate extension.
Available widgets include sliders, galleries, parallax sections, media players, lightboxes, accordions, grid layouts and Google Maps. These can be used in different combinations across the site.
Configured widgets can be displayed inside Joomla articles or published through module positions. This allows the same widget system to be reused in both content and template areas.
Automatic image sizing and touch-screen support help the visual elements adapt to different devices. Additional effects can be selected according to the presentation required for a particular widget.
