Essentials for ZOO 3.0.4 is a collection of add-ons for the ZOO content construction kit (CCK) for Joomla. It extends the standard ZOO functionality with additional elements, modules and tools for creating, managing and displaying structured content.
The package adds Pro Elements that can be used to expand ZOO item types with additional fields and display options. These include tools for working with images, files, links, dates, maps, related items and categories, text and other types of content. Custom layouts and additional rendering options make it possible to adapt the output to the requirements of a particular website.
Essentials for ZOO also includes ZOOfilter, which provides advanced frontend filtering for ZOO applications. Filters can be built around the fields used by an application and configured with different layouts and result options. The filtering system also integrates with YOOtheme Pro, making it possible to use ZOO content and filtering together with websites built using the visual builder.
Another part of the package is ZOOlingual, which adds translation capabilities at the ZOO element level. Import and export tools, SEO-related features and additional integrations further extend the standard content management workflow.
Version 3.0.4 fixes the integration between ZOOfilter and YOOtheme Pro and removes deprecated Joomla class imports. These changes improve compatibility with current Joomla and YOOtheme-based projects.
