AMPZ Social Sharing 6.0.5 is a Joomla extension for adding social sharing and follow buttons to site content. Buttons can be placed in sidebars, above or below content, in a fly-in panel or in a mobile-specific position at the bottom of the screen. Administrators can choose the networks, change their order and appearance, control share-count display and use shortcodes when buttons need to appear in a custom position.
Several placement options can be enabled independently, allowing the same site to use different sharing layouts for desktop and mobile visitors. Inline buttons can appear around article content, while sidebar and fly-in positions provide alternatives that remain separate from the main text.
Mobile Mode is designed for smaller screens and can place the sharing controls at the bottom of the viewport. The number of visible buttons can be limited, with additional networks grouped behind a secondary control.
AMPZ includes predefined button designs and styling options for size, labels, counters, animation and border radius. The button templates are based on CSS and can be adjusted further when a site needs its own presentation.
The extension also records sharing statistics and is designed to minimize unnecessary external requests. AMPZ 6.0.5 can therefore be used as both a sharing interface and a way to review how the configured social buttons are being used.
